Sabine Pass Fishing Reports & Conditions
Stay up-to-date with the latest bite patterns, water conditions, and seasonal trends from the water.
Current Conditions & Seasonal Outlook
Spring: Waters warm up, drawing massive numbers of speckled trout and redfish into the shallow marsh bays. Prime time for topwater action and steady inshore limits.
Summer: Early morning trips yield the best results. Target bull reds and sharks around the Sabine Pass jetties, or work the deeper reef edges in Sabine Lake for trout.
Fall: One of the most productive seasons of the year. Falling temperatures trigger major bait movements, bringing aggressive feeding frenzies for redfish and flounder.
Winter: Focus shifts to deeper channels and muddy bottom drops where trout and redfish school up. Slow presentations with live shrimp or soft plastics produce the best results.
